BAEHS is being established as an independent scientific research organization focused on investigating how environmental exposures affect human health through toxicology, neuroscience, epidemiology, computational modeling, and related environmental health sciences. They come as teas, pills, powders, juices, drinks, supplements, foot baths, and special diets. Different practitioners in the wellness industry use names like purification, cleanse, elimination, decontamination, rejuvenation, revitalization, restoration, or even the deceptive term rehabilitation or rehab. The last term used primarily in the sense of someone who is going through the process of stopping regular usage and abstaining from use of alcohol or some other addictive substance. These terms are purposefully chosen to increase credibility based on the association with evidence based medical treatments.
